For Group or Small Group Lessons:

For Group Lessons and Small Group Lessons, our refund / cancellation policy is as follows:
In an effort to provide you with a quality program we request that you please register your children before the Wednesday of each Session. Please be aware we close registration the Wednesday before each session starts.

  • If you want to cancel after we close registration for the upcoming session (ie: cancel for session 2 after registration for session 2 closes): we only issue refunds if you are unable to continue with the class due to an illness and a doctor's note is REQUIRED. Please read the specifics below. A receipt will be emailed to your to verify your registration has been completed.

PLEASE PRINT YOUR RECEIPT AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO THE FIRST DAY OF CLASS.

2. If your child should miss a day due to illness or they just didn't make it to class that day, there are no makeups scheduled, and no credits are issued for that day. Our instructors are waiting for your child each day, and if he or she is unable to attend, then we look forward to seeing them at the next scheduled class. Consistency is one of the keys to our program.

3. If your child should develop a medical problem and requires a doctor's visit, we will move them to the next available session, however; should they severely injure themselves causing them to be out of swimming for the entire session, and there are no other sessions available for us to sign your child up for, we will refund, minus the days in attendance.

4. Please schedule your time accordingly. If after signing up for a class or program, you decide before registration closes this is not the class you want to be registered in we will try to do the following. We may be able to move you to to a different class or program if the space is available. All changes are at the discretion of San Diego Swim School.

Please remember that we have no control over "Acts of God" like the following:
Thunderstorms that produce lightning:
would close the pool for 30 minutes. If lightning wasn't seen again within the 30 minutes, the pool would reopen, however; if lightning is seen again within the 1 hour, the pool would close for the rest of the day.

A fecal accident: If a fecal accident should happen in the small pool, The following steps will happen:
If your class is being conducted in the small pool and the small pool is closed due to a fecal accident, classes will not be moved to the big pool, instead a Safety Day may be offered. If classes are canceled for more than a day, San Diego Swim School will do its best to compensate it's customers on the loss of their lessons. All refunds or credits are given at the discretion of San Diego Swim School.

Again we have no control over these and so no makeup's will be scheduled.

By checking that you agree to these terms and conditions during registration, you, your family, collectively on behalf of their personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin acknowledges that this is a legal binding contract and is in effect when the form is submitted to our database.
